the best beauty products in the world announced

Every year, all the ELLE beauty editors from around the world vote for their favourite beauty products as part of the ELLE International Beauty Awards (EIBA).

Winners are crowned in every category – from shampoo, mascaras and serums to foundations, face masks, sun care and moisturises, and these products are reportedly seen as the “gold standard around the world”.

So, whether you’re looking for a new lipstick or a mascara, these are the products you want to shop for.

Personally, I want the Rouge Hermes Matte Lipstick (in love with that colour!), the Louis Vuitton California Dream (although, the price tag – $440AUD. YIKES!) and the Love Beauty & Planet Volume and Bounty Shampoo Bar (because: sustainability!).
Also, you can’t go past Kérastase for shampoo – it is the best! I’ve used it (on/off) for years … my mumma got me onto it.
Last but not least: when Elle Germany Beauty Director, Barbara Huber describes the Chanel Hydra Beauty Camellia Repair Mask as “an elixir so rich that you can barely believe it comes out of a jar”; as something that “transports you to a moment of total relaxation”; “like wrapping your face in a cloud of pure moisture” … well, I’m sold. David Jones, here I come.
