My mum and I have had this tradition for as long as I can remember: Every Thursday night we’d catch up at Chadstone mostly (Oh hi, Melbourne!), but sometimes at Fountain Gate (#thursdaynightshoppingnight!).
We’d have dinner or maybe just a coffee. We’d chat and catch up. She’d give me advice. I’d share my latest adulting drama and we’d typically end the night with a quick peruse through one of the bookshops.
I love bookshops and books, and even like to read sometimes. Just kidding, I’m a total nerd – I love to read. Also, I’m pretty certain I have a book problem. Is it hoarding if you have too many books …?
The amount I used to have was quite seriously bordering on ridiculous.
I say “used to” because since recently moving to Doha, Qatar with my husband I got rid of basically all of my books and now I have … *gasp* … A. KINDLE.
Send. Help. #justkidding
Anyhoo. I digress.
During one such Thursday night escapade, I came across the following quote:
Knowing that your success is completely dependent on you is beyond scary at times, but I wouldn’t change it for the world!

Ha. Brilliant! Success: come at me. I’m here for it.
Gosia (pronounced: Go-sh-ia) is Polish for Margs. I’m Polish. Born in Krakow, Poland but raised in Australia.
The idea behind oh my, gosia! came about on one wine-fuelled night when I had told the story of the Polish version of my name to some close pals, including my new French beau now husband who was with me that night.
So, in the words of Meghan Markle: “Thank you for joining me on this adventure! I could not be more grateful for your support and companionship on this beautifully wild ride.”
